In a one-on-one conversation with her sister, Kim, Khloé Kardashian drops a bombshell. “I found out that mom’s lying to me,” she said. In fact, it’s a situation that started in 2015 and involves her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. Then Khloé hatched a plan with family friend, Scott Disick, to confront her mom.
“She’s literally avoiding me,” Khloé claimed, as she and Disick discussed why her mom had been so difficult to get hold of. Her friend then confessed, “She’s scared that you’re going to confront her. She’s like, ‘I don’t want to see Khloé because I don’t want to have the conversation.’” The mooted discussion would be about “that SoulCycle thing.”
“That SoulCycle thing” refers to a 2015 incident involving Khloé’s ex-husband, former basketball player Lamar Odom. The pair married in September 2009 after a month-long, whirlwind romance. However, they separated in 2013 amid rumors of Odom’s unfaithfulness and substance abuse. The couple eventually divorced three years later, after he got back on his feet following a drug overdose that nearly killed him.
In 2015 Odom had approached Khloé unexpectedly outside a Beverly Hills SoulCycle class. It was 6 a.m., and the encounter caught Khloé off guard, not least because the former couple had not long finalized their divorce. Given that the incident occurred so early in the morning, and in front of paparazzi, Khloé suspected someone had alerted her ex-husband to her location.
Although Khloé’s mom, Kris Jenner, long denies being the informant, Odom’s 2019 autobiography tells a different story. And when Khloé read it, her suspicion was once again aroused to her mother’s involvement. She told Kim, “The only reason I feel like mom did disclose my whereabouts is because how would Lamar know where I was going at 5:30 in the morning?”
